I have to say that cacti have always seemed to me to be a very ugly sort of plant, and if you’re not lucky enough to be too close you can get a few unfortunate bites. Each time, I find more options to decorate with cacti; maybe because It is a very easy to maintain plant with great resistance to high temperatures, suitable for summer. They are mainly used on outlets and decks, but can sometimes be found inside the house.
When we think of cacti, the same image always comes back to us, but be aware that there is a wide variety of derived species. So we can enter the market very large cacti, some short, some very thick and some thinner, with and without flowers, round and even with very strange shapes which turns into plants that appear to come from other planets, like the classic Pachycereus pringlei or calls Mammillaria spinossisima. They are very strange plants, but they offer a striking and original touch in the decoration of the house.
They can be placed individually, decorate a corner or shelf, or combined with other types of colorful plants to decorate your balcony or patio. Remember that cacti are resistant to very high and very low temperatures, but will not withstand a cold below five degrees or a downpour. Yes, all of them return water, and we should only water them when the soil is completely dry.
That is why the cactus is the ideal plant for anyone who does not have the time or the knowledge of gardening. They practically know how to live alone. When to water them We will always pour water on the ground, not on its leaves, and if we want to transplant them, always with good gloves leave money. On the other hand, you need to make sure that the cactus container does not overheat during summer days. They are best planted in clay pots, with stones at the bottom for drainage.

Without being the most aesthetic plants, some of these combinations can be original and, against all expectations, quite beautiful.
